Job Description & Summary

About the team

The Commercial Excellence practice, part of the PwC Strategy& network, is a fast-growing team with incredible momentum and senior support aimed at accelerating the firm’s ability to deliver client impact in the areas of pricing, salesforce effectiveness, go-to-market strategy and marketing effectiveness.

We are a tight-knit, entrepreneurial team of strategy consultants with deep knowledge of pricing and commercial excellence, coupled with experience working across industries and private equity operating teams. Given the rapid growth we are experiencing in winning client projects, we have the remit to accelerate the growth of our team and strengthen our capabilities.

What your days will look like:

Supporting clients across primarily B2B sectors (e.g. tech, media, industrials, business services, financial services, etc.) in functional areas related to commercial excellence, pricing, salesforce effectiveness, marketing and growth

Building and maintaining relationships with industry and / or private equity clients

Growing a business in a consulting environment through business development, pitching to potential clients and other supporting activities

This role is for you if:

Experience in Manager / Engagement Manager capacity in a consulting environment

Expertise in Pricing and / or Sales Effectiveness encompassing more than the following:

Ability to independently run a classic pricing / commercial effectiveness project engagement with a client end-to-end

Willingness and capability to support in varied business development activities (e.g. proposals, thought leadership, training, etc.)

Strong commercial / business acumen, analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

Ability to lead and coach a diverse, collaborative and high-performing team of consultants

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including clients and internal senior stakeholders across the wider PwC firm

Significant client-facing experience at a top-tier consulting firm or at pricing/growth-focused consulting boutique

What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions. We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
