What you’ll be doing
- Support the Transmission Operations Substation Maintenance team with administration, purchasing and work programme coordination. The role involves preparing reports and performance data, maintaining outage plans and supporting the scheduling of maintenance activities to help maximise operational efficiency and productivity.
- Act as a central point of contact for work programmes and outage planning
- Support Engineers, Team Leaders and Schedulers in developing and maintaining work programmes
- Assist with outage planning, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
- Maintain resource plans and coordinate daily and weekly work schedules
- Use SAP and other systems to identify and maximise outage opportunities
- Administer work programme controls and departmental processes
- Manage purchasing requirements and supplier relationships
- Produce reports, scorecards and other operational documentation
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and customer service
What You’ll Bring
- Strong planning, organisation and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven administrative experience in a busy environment
- Confidence working with colleagues across different levels of the business
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Awareness of health, safety and environmental practices
- Experience using business systems and databases
- Knowledge of SAP, AIS or Salesforce would be advantageous
Minimum Criteria
- Experience in a project support, coordination or administration role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- General understanding of operations, maintenance or construction activities
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Relevant administration or coordination experience in a fast-paced environment
