The rolen You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of managed properties, becoming the key point of contact for landlords and tenants and making sure issues are dealt with professionally, efficiently and with good commercial judgement. n The emphasis is on properly managing relationships and protecting your landlords’ investments, rather than simply processing maintenance requests. Key Responsibilitiesn n Managing your own portfolio of residential properties n Building strong, long-term relationships with landlords and tenants n Coordinating maintenance and repairs from initial report through to completion n Managing contractors and ensuring works are completed to the right standard n Carrying out property inspections and following up on any issues n Managing deposit, tenancy and end-of-tenancy matters n Keeping landlords informed and helping them make sensible decisions about their properties n Ensuring your portfolio remains compliant with current lettings legislation n Resolving problems before they become bigger ones n What will help you succeedn You’ll ideally already have experience within residential Property Management or Lettings and understand what it takes to manage a busy portfolio properly. n You’ll be organised, confident dealing with landlords and tenants, comfortable making decisions and able to keep control when several issues need attention at once. n Most importantly, you’ll care about doing the job well.
