AI becomes valuable when people trust it with meaningful work. You will shape how that trust feels: from the first workflow to the moment a senior professional decides Hive can take on more.
This is not a “make it pretty” role. You will shape the product, the system and the standard for how thoughtful, governed AI should work.
What you’ll do
- Own product design from early problem to shipped experience: flows, prototypes, interaction patterns and the system behind them.
- Design approvals, explanations, receipts and autonomy levels that make AI feel clear, useful and in control.
- Spend time with design partners and see real teams use what you build.
- Create and evolve the design system that helps a small, fast team move brilliantly.
- Help shape Hive’s brand where product and brand meet.
What you bring
- 4+ years of experience designing and shipping high-quality B2B SaaS, enterprise or workflow-heavy products.
- An outstanding portfolio that shows both strategic thinking and exceptional visual craft.
- A degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong systems thinking. You can design the state machine and the pixel.
- You prototype to learn and decide, not just to present.
