Location: St Luke’s Primary Care Centre, NorthamptonContract Type: Ad-hoc Locum (Regular Sessions Available)Pay: £100 per hour (£800 per day)

About The Role

We are seeking experienced General Practitioners to provide ad-hoc locum cover at St Luke’s Primary Care Centre in Northampton.With regular sessions available throughout the year, this is an excellent opportunity for GPs looking for flexible locum work within a supportive primary care environment. Flexible start and finish times are available, allowing you to achieve an excellent work-life balance while maintaining a consistent stream of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality GP consultations to registered patients
• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
• Develop personalised treatment and management plans
• Prescribe safely and in line with current clinical guidelines
• Make appropriate referrals to secondary and community services
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary practice team
• Deliver safe, patient-centred care in line with GMC standards

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
• Inclusion on the NHS GP Register
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous NHS General Practice experience
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently within a busy primary care setting

Desirable

• Experience using primary care clinical systems
• Previous locum GP experience
• Ability to provide regular ad-hoc availability
