Longfox Unit/Elmham Way/Coast Resource Centre – Weston-super-Mare
Hotel Services Supervisor – Part-time 30 hours per week.
The Longfox Unit is situated in the grounds of Weston General Hospital in Uphill. Elmham Way, and the Coast Resource Centre are in the Worle area of Weston-super-Mare.
Hours of work are 07.30 to 13.30 following a 2-week rota pattern which includes working every other weekend.
We are looking to recruit a Housekeeping Supervisor with experience who is able to motivate individuals to undertake the cleaning within the associated in-patient wards, departments, and community units, to provide our in-patient service users with food and beverages at mealtimes, and to ensure that a high standard of food hygiene and cleanliness is maintained at all times.
You will join a team of staff and will be working with one other Supervisor in supporting, and leading the day-to-day housekeeping, catering, portering, and linen services to the associated areas of responsibility.
The post holder will be expected to provide supervisory cover across the whole area of responsibility.

- 1.To Supervise Wards and Departments and to deploy Hotel Services Assistants and General Hotel Services Assistants on a daily basis to ensure that the areas of responsibility are maintained in a safe and hygienic condition ensuring a pleasant environment.
- 2.To organize the rosters to ensure that appropriate cover is provided to all areas of responsibility.
- 3.To ensure the correct handling, regeneration and service of Frozen Meals by Hotel Services Assistants and General Hotel Services Assistants to ensure compliance with Trust Policy and Legislation.
- 4.To assist the Facilities Manager/Operational Manager in the provision of other services within the Hotel Services Department and to assist with the recruitment, training and development of staff.
