The Role
As a Primary Teacher working in Walsall, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2. You’ll be able to plan your schedule for optimum work‑life balance, whether you prefer consistent placements or crave variety through supply work. Your adaptability and classroom expertise will empower students and support their development at every stage.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Adapt teaching to cater to a broad range of abilities and learning needs
- Assess, record, and monitor pupil progress effectively
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants and wider school teams to maximise learning
Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Minimum 6 months’ UK teaching experience
- A strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- References covering the last 24 months
