As a Computer Science Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering an innovative and engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will support students with a range of learning needs, helping them develop both academic and practical technology skills while promoting independence, confidence and resilience.,
- Delivering engaging Computer Science and IT lessons that meet the needs of individual learners.
- Teaching a broad curriculum that develops digital literacy, computing knowledge and practical technology skills.
- Acting as a form tutor and providing pastoral support to students.
- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons that inspire students and promote outstanding progress.
- Monitoring, assessing and tracking student achievement, using data to inform teaching and support development.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to support student success.
- Contributing to the development of curriculum resources, schemes of work and wider school initiatives.
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and achievement.
- Supporting students to develop literacy, numeracy, communication and independent learning skills.
- Promoting positive behaviour, wellbeing and strong relationships across the school community.
- Working closely with therapeutic and support teams to ensure learning is tailored to individual student needs.
- Embracing new technologies and innovative approaches to enhance learning experiences.

You will ideally have:
- Experience delivering Computer Science, IT or related technology subjects.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
