This role plays an important part in delivering high standards, supporting player development, and helping us create the best possible environment for success across the Club.

About the role 

We are looking for an organised, proactive and supporter-focused Fan Engagement and Events Coordinator to join our Supporter Services team. Working closely with the Fan Engagement Manager, you will help deliver Newcastle United’s fan engagement strategy by coordinating supporter consultations, workshops, events and wider engagement activity. You will help create accessible and meaningful opportunities for supporters in the UK and overseas to engage with the Club, while ensuring feedback is captured, understood and translated into practical actions that improve the supporter experience. You will also support relationships with Official Supporters’ Clubs, maintain accurate engagement and event information, and provide insight that supports decision-making and evidences fan consultation activity.

What you’ll do 

* Support the delivery of the Club’s Fan Engagement Plan and activity designed to improve the supporter experience.

* Coordinate supporter consultations, workshops and events, including planning, logistics, costs, attendance, feedback and follow-up actions.

* Manage day-to-day relationships with Official Supporters’ Clubs and help ensure member benefits and information are delivered accurately.

* Deliver meaningful in-person and digital engagement opportunities for supporters in the UK and across the global fanbase.

* Maintain accurate supporter, engagement and event data, databases, dashboards and reports. Evaluate engagement initiatives and events, identify learning and recommend practical improvements.

* Help build positive relationships with supporters, fan groups and representative bodies. Work collaboratively with colleagues across Supporter Services and other Club teams supporting the fan experience.

* Identify and manage risks connected with engagement activity and events in line with Club policies and procedures.

* Keep up to date with supporter-engagement good practice, industry developments and relevant regulatory requirements.

* Work flexibly when required, including matchdays, evenings, weekends and overseas activity.
