6 month rolling contractTurner Lovell are recruiting an experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer with a strong civil engineering and design development background to support the delivery of a major transmission infrastructure programme in the UK for a leading global energy organisation.This is a design-focused position, working closely with designers, the wider project team and client representatives to support the development, review and progression of civil engineering designs through the project lifecycle.DutiesSupport the development and review of civil designs, drawings, specifications and technical documentation.Coordinate design reviews, technical queries and interfaces across engineering disciplines and project teams.Monitor design progress and ensure deliverables meet project requirements, specifications and programme deadlines.Support the transition from design to construction, resolving technical queries and site issues.Liaise with clients, designers and contractors, supporting the Project Manager with progress reporting and documentation.Ensure civil engineering activities comply with quality, health and safety, environmental and project requirements.RequirementsHNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.Strong civil engineering experience, ideally across design development, design review or engineering coordination.Experience within energy, transmission, utilities or major infrastructure is beneficial.Good knowledge of civil works including foundations, earthworks, drainage, roads and structures, with experience taking designs through to construction.Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience working with consultants, clients and wider project teams; willingness to attend site as required.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Project Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer with a design development background to take on a key role within a major transmission infrastructure programme, working closely with designers, clients and the wider project team to progress civil engineering works from design development through towards construction.To apply, please contact Hope Brown –
