They are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join their growing technical team.This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows environments and networking technologies who enjoys solving problems and delivering outstanding customer service.You will work across a variety of client environments, providing both remote and on-site support whilst helping to maintain secure, reliable, and modern IT systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second-line technical support via phone, email, remote access, and on-site visits.Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and networking issues.Deploy and support PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.Administer user accounts, permissions, and licences across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory and Intune.Support Windows 11 devices, endpoint compliance, and application deployments.Diagnose issues relating to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and firewalls.Monitor backups, alerts, system performance, and security events.Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and support notes.Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with non-technical users.Essential RequirementsPrevious experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role.Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.Experience with Entra ID, Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.Understanding of networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, VPNs and Wi-Fi.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security.Experience using ticketing and remote support tools.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.DesirableExperience with Windows Server, Azure, or virtualisation.Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and security solutions.PowerShell scripting experience.Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or AI technologies.Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL etc.).Full UK Driving Licence.BenefitsWPA Health Insurance.Workplace pension.Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays.Additional day off for your birthday.Ongoing training and certification support.Career progression opportunities.Flexible/hybrid working where suitable.Mileage reimbursement for client visits.Regular salary reviews.Supportive and collaborative team environment.
