Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join an established food manufacturing business based in Dunfermline.

n

This is a hands-on role keeping the production plant running: grinding and mixing machines, packing lines and conveyors. Monday to Friday, weekends off, no on-call. And our client will consider an experienced engineer or a junior engineer keen to develop.

• Full-time permanent position – 40 hours per week

• An annual salary of up to 38,000 depending on experience

• Working week of Monday to Friday, rotating day and back shift between 5am and 10pm

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

n

n
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime

n

• Delivering preventative and predictive maintenance plans

n

• Assisting with the installation of new machinery

n

• Maintaining accurate records and spare parts inventory

n

n

To be considered as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

n

n
• HNC or HND in mechanical or electrical engineering, or to be working towards one

n

• Experience in a processing or manufacturing environment

n

• A working understanding of PUWER and LOLER

n

• PLC experience and IOSH accreditation are advantageous

n

n
