Maintenance Technician
Our client is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to perform planned and unplanned maintenance across its operations. You will troubleshoot equipment with production teams, support the installation and commissioning of new process equipment, and help maintain reliable facility and utility systems. The role offers hands on technical scope, ownership of equipment performance and the opportunity to work across maintenance, production and engineering.
The position is based onsite in Dundalk, County Louth, with a Monday to Friday earlies & lates working pattern (No nights or weekends). This arrangement offers a consistent weekday routine while providing the opportunity to collaborate directly with production and engineering teams.

The Role:
- Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance, reporting equipment or facility issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Support installation and commissioning of process equipment, including factory and site acceptance testing.
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot with production teams and manage replacement parts.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and update the Maintenance System.
- Applicants from an electrical OR mechanical background welcomed
The Person:
- Advanced Certificate Craft Level 6 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Post apprenticeship experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication skills, accuracy and the ability to contribute independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics desirable but not essential
