?? Be part of someone’s recovery journey. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Relief Nightshift Support Worker to join our Shiels Court & Glens team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults experiencing mental health challenges and addiction-related issues, helping them achieve positive outcomes through a strengths-based, person-centred approach.
? About the role
As a Relief Nightshift Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive and recovery-focused environment where Service Users can develop the skills, resilience and confidence to lead fulfilling lives. You will assist the team in providing the highest possible standard of support by actively promoting and implementing recovery through a strengths-based, person-centred approach.
- ?? Develop and maintain trusting, professional relationships with Service Users, acting in a supportive and empathetic manner.
- ?? Contribute to a harmonious and therapeutic environment.
- ?? Support Service Users to manage their physical health, mental health and wellbeing through individual support plans.
- ??? Involve Service Users in all aspects of decision-making and remain sensitive to the difficulties they encounter.
- ?? Deliver care and support through a social inclusion and recovery approach that helps people find and maintain hope, re-establish a positive identity, build a meaningful life, and take responsibility and control.

- Are passionate about mental health, recovery and person-centred care.
- Demonstrate empathy, resilience and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Can build positive relationships and work effectively with a diverse range of people.
