Operational Finance Analyst

At Avondale Foods we are looking for an Operational Finance Analyst who will support the finance team and the wider business by providing meaningful insight into operational performance. The role will combine financial analysis, data interpretation and stakeholder engagement. The role will support with reporting activities to understand cost drivers and support business decisions.

What you will do:

• Analysing financial and operational data to provide business insights
• Weekly and monthly reporting to include labour, waste and stock
• Support with financialising projects across the business and monitoring delivery
• Assist in the preparation of key performance indicators and commentaries on variances
• Preparation of product costings and maintaining standard costs for the business
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Support with the annual budget and forecasting process
• Provide cover for other areas of the finance team when required
• Carry out any other administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department

Essential Criteria:

• Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) or ATI qualified (QBE will be considered for candidates with extensive experience
• At least 3 years experience working within a finance function
• Experience working in FMCG
• IT literate proficient in MS package
