Senior BIM Coordinator
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced BIM professional to join a highly regarded building services contractor delivering complex MEP projects across Ireland and the UK. This role offers exposure to advanced BIM technologies, including AR/VR, alongside excellent career progression and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate MEP models and drawings using Revit MEP.
- Coordinate with multidiscipline teams to identify and resolve clashes, spatial constraints, builders’ work requirements, and fire-stopping considerations.
- Support BIM project delivery, including COBie data, asset information, and digital handovers.
- Conduct model reviews, clash detection, and issue resolution with project stakeholders.
- Utilise AR/VR technologies to enhance design coordination and visualisation.
- Support the development and implementation of BIM standards, procedures, and quality processes.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with client requirements, industry standards, and project deadlines.
Essential:
- 3+ years’ experience in a BIM Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong Revit MEP skills, including HVAC system modelling and Revit family creation.
- Good understanding of BIM processes and UK BIM standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Qualification in Building Services, MEP Engineering, BIM, CAD, or a related field.
- Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Knowledge of underground services coordination.
