Procurement & Logistics Coordinator

Location: Tyne & Wear (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to support purchasing, supply chain and logistics activities within a fast-paced technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, equipment and services.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations and raise purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate UK and international freight movements.
• Manage shipping and customs documentation.
• Support project teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Assist with inventory control, asset tracking and process improvements.

Requirements

• Previous experience within Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Experience coordinating deliveries and freight movements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical sectors is advantageous.
