Data & Digital Improvement Manager (Primary Care)

Company: Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Apply for the Data & Digital Improvement Manager (Primary Care)
Location: Cramlington
Job Description:

Are you passionate about using data, digital innovation and technology to improve patient care and operational performance?

Northumbria Primary Care is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Data & Digital Improvement Manager to lead digital transformation, business intelligence and service improvement programmes across our growing organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how technology, data and innovation are used to improve services, support practices and enhance patient outcomes across primary care.

As Data & Digital Improvement Manager, you will provide operational leadership for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of data, digital and technology-enabled transformation programmes across NPC.

Working closely with GP practices, senior leaders, system partners and suppliers, you will lead initiatives that improve data quality, optimise digital systems, support operational decision-making and deliver measurable service improvements. You will play a key role in driving the NPC Data and Digital Strategy whilst ensuring compliance with NHS digital standards, information governance requirements and clinical safety processes.

Northumbria Primary Care Ltd (NPC) is a pioneering partnership with local GPs and now manages several GP practices with around 120,000 registered patients in Northumberland and North Tyneside.

Whilst appointees will have a base practice within NPC, they may be asked to work at other practices across our group. We do however limit this as much as possible as we appreciate continuity is vital to effective primary care.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative organisation at a time of significant digital development and transformation.

Working across Northumbria Primary Care, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Influence the future direction of digital primary care services.
  • Lead innovative projects that improve outcomes for patients and staff.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, GP practices and system partners.
  • Develop new approaches to data-driven decision making and service improvement.
  • Support adoption of emerging technologies and best practice.
  • Make a meaningful impact on quality, efficiency and patient experience across our services.

Please note that NPC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
