Overview
In this role you will deliver BMS infrastructure upgrades across commercial, healthcare, education and government sites, helping to prime facilities to become smart-enabled. You will work within the Digital business to support a growing portfolio while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll tackle installation, configuration and maintenance of BMS components and systems, driving performance improvements and value for clients. This position offers on-call responsibilities with additional financial benefits and a clear path to grow with Equans’ ambitious 3–5 year plan.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure and commission BMS components and equipment (sensors, controllers, actuators, software)
- Carry out maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium and Distech BMS on sites
- Participate in reactive call-out rota with on-call benefits
- Provide specialist technical support to clients regarding BMS systems
- Identify opportunities for improvement/remedial works to enhance BMS performance
- Prepare proposals and quotes for works as required
Key requirements
- City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ Electrical (qualification)
- Extensive knowledge & experience of BMS / HVAC
- Knowledge/experience with Trend, Tridium/Niagara/Distech/Siemens
- Excellent working knowledge of the electrical industry
- Ability to read Electrical & Mechanical schematic diagrams
- Understanding of IT networks
- Good AutoCAD skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Controls training / experience
- DBS vetting and potential BPSS vetting
