UK Financial Controller

Overview

UK Financial Controller role leading the finance function for a fast-growing, multi-entity engineering business. You will report to the CFO and manage a finance team, delivering monthly reporting, statutory accounts and audits while driving budgeting, forecasting and cash management. You will champion process improvements and technology to enhance controls and reporting. This high-visibility role offers autonomy and the chance to shape a growing international finance function.

Pay / Benefits

• Salary up to 100,000
• Performance bonus up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
• Manage cash flow planning and forecasting
• Lead multi-currency reporting and consolidation
• Stock accounting and inventory control oversight
• Develop financial dashboards and KPI reporting
• Drive process improvements and systems enhancements
• Coordinate statutory accounts and annual audit
• Lead and develop the finance team
• Support strategic decision-making across the business

Key requirements

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience as Financial Controller or senior finance leader in manufacturing/engineering/project-based environments
• Strong stock accounting and job costing experience
• Excellent technical accounting and reporting skills
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
