Overview
In this senior role you will take technical ownership from day one, working on complex and unusual structures at a boutique City of London firm. You will shape solutions within a small team where your input directly influences project outcomes. The work centers on high-caliber structural challenges rather than routine drawings. This position offers meaningful impact and the opportunity to grow through hands-on ownership of non-standard schemes.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive technical design for complex structural schemes from inception to delivery
- Develop innovative concepts for non-standard projects with a small, collaborative team
- Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to communicate design intent and progress
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards across construction types
Key requirements
- 5-8 years’ relevant structural engineering experience
- Chartered or near-chartered status
- Solid design experience across a range of construction types
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on complex, non-standard projects
