Project Manager

Overview

In this role you drive technology delivery programmes in blockchain and DLT for financial services, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring on-time, quality outcomes. You act as the governance anchor, managing stakeholders, risks, and documentation across complex engagements. You’ll link engineering, business analysis, and client needs to deliver end-to-end solutions while maintaining momentum in fast-moving environments. This is a collaborative, client‑facing position with a strong emphasis on governance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day technology delivery programmes and serve as central point of contact for MACH and client stakeholders
• Own project governance: stakeholder mapping, governance forums, and required documentation (charters, plans, status reports, terms of reference)
• Ensure appropriate resourcing across software engineering, blockchain development, and business analysis workstreams
• Maintain and manage the project plan and RAID log, focusing on technical dependencies between blockchain components, APIs, and client infrastructure
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery across requirements, design, development, testing, and go-live with engineering and business analysis teams
• Build and manage relationships with client and internal stakeholders; tailor communication to audience level
• Document decisions and outcomes with minutes, sign-offs, and auditable artefacts throughout the lifecycle
• Support risk and issue resolution, lead lessons‑learned for continuous improvement
• Identify cross-functional interdependencies (blockchain, platform integration, client change programmes)
• Promote engineering best practices, ensure sprint commitments, and achieve desired product outcomes
• Collaborate across technical and commercial teams to maintain momentum on multi-workstream programmes
• Undertake additional programme delivery duties including bid activity, onboarding, and capability development
• Demonstrate end-to-end delivery experience across software releases, platform integrations and client implementations
• Work in fast-paced, client-facing environments where scope and priorities shift
• Deliver pragmatic, outcome-driven solutions while engaging with technical detail when needed

Key requirements

• Hands-on project management of technology or software development programmes
• Solid background in financial services, familiarity with capital markets, post-trade infrastructure, or digital asset ecosystems
• Strong Agile and waterfall delivery know-how with governance for client-facing programmes
• Stakeholder management and excellent verbal/written communication; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Comfort operating with developers, architects, and executives alike
• Experience drafting formal project docs (initiation documents, RAID logs, status reports, sprint plans, release notes)
• Proven workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
• Track record of delivering from initiation to go-live including releases, integrations and client implementations
• Problem-solving and collaborative team orientation; capable of unblocking delivery and maintaining momentum across distributed teams
• Strategic, pragmatic, and delivery-focused with ability to dive into technical detail as needed
• Experience in fast-paced, client-facing environments with shifting priorities
