Cyber Security Consulting Lead

Overview

In this role you will drive cyber security work on large IT and business change projects in a global insurance firm. You will advise on security requirements, assess controls, review architectures, and manage cyber assessments with remediation guidance. You will engage with senior stakeholders and technical teams to shape secure delivery in a regulated environment. The position emphasizes AppSec/DevSecOps and cloud security expertise, with a hybrid London-based working pattern.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical security assessments and drive remediation actions
• Review architectural diagrams and security controls within projects
• Advise on security requirements and governance for IT and business changes
• Manage cyber assessments and coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams
• Collaborate across functions to ensure secure delivery in a regulated environment

Key requirements

• Experience conducting technical security assessments
• Ability to review architectural diagrams
