Finance, Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support regulatory, statutory, and tax reporting for major authorities while delivering monthly management accounts and timely financial statements. You’ll work within the Finance team to improve processes, automate workflows, and ensure accurate data for regulatory compliance. The position focuses on FCA, PRA, BOE, EBA, and HMRC reporting, with opportunities to implement Temenos and drive efficiency. You will partner with cross-functional teams to manage data analysis and regulatory projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regulatory, statutory and tax returns for FCA, PRA, BOE, EBA and HMRC
• Produce monthly management accounts, reports and variance analysis
• Complete reconciliations, financial statements and daily accounting duties
• Maintain fixed assets, accruals and prepayment records
• Support Nostro/Suspense account reconciliations and investigate issues
• Assist with regulatory reporting and annual financial statements
• Help implement Temenos and improve Finance processes
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
• Support projects, data analysis and new regulatory requirements

Key requirements

• Accounting qualification or working towards one
• 2-4 years’ experience in finance, banking or audit
• Strong IT skills, especially Advanced Excel
• SQL or Python experience is an advantage
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Temenos experience is desirable
• Experience with data mapping, regulatory systems and migrations
• Good knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
