Overview
In this newly created Finance Business Partner role, you will partner with senior stakeholders to translate financial data into strategic insights, supporting budgeting, forecasting and decision-making. You’ll be part of a small, high-visibility UK Finance team led by the Finance Director, driving data-driven improvements and exploring technologies including AI. The role offers growth opportunities as the function scales and evolves. You’ll work across underwriting, claims and operations to shape the Leeds finance capability and support wider business growth.

Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with partners across underwriting, claims, operations and leadership teams
- Deliver insightful management information and commercial analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities
- Analyse financial performance, trends, risks and opportunities
- Provide meaningful commentary and recommendations to support decision-making
- Develop and enhance management reporting and business dashboards
- Improve the quality and accessibility of financial information
- Support the evolution of finance processes, reporting and data capabilities
- Drive more data-led decision making across the business
Key requirements
- Previous Finance Business Partnering experience
- Strong commercial awareness and partner management skills
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
- Strong accounting and finance knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance audiences
- A proactive, self-sufficient approach with the confidence to operate independently
