Project Financial Analyst I

Overview

As a Project Financial Analyst I, you will support accurate financial reporting and analysis to enable timely decision-making. You will work within the Finance team to prepare budgets, forecasts, and profitability insights for your assigned area. This role combines data rigor with collaboration in a fast-paced life sciences environment. You’ll contribute to business growth through strong controls and insightful management reporting. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver financial reporting, controls and procedures for timely, accurate information
• Prepare, interpret and analyze financial data, business metrics, and ad-hoc reports for global management
• Produce key reports including budgets, forecasts, utilization, headcount, revenue backlog, and gross profit for the assigned area
• Develop monthly financial reports and commentary and other required financial analysis for senior management
• Provide financial insights on growth trends and profitability; serve as a key contact for interpretation of results
• Assist management and Finance with miscellaneous projects as directed by supervisor

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• 0-2 years of work experience
• Pharmaceutical or CRO experience
• Ability to build forecast from protocol/subject data and assess data quality
• Experience reviewing Medidata CTMS data and handling forecast-related calculations
• Attention to data inconsistencies and currency issues
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Oracle Finance
• Experience handling confidential data; strong attention to detail and teamwork
