Senior Staff Process Engineer – Diffusion

Overview

In this role you will lead key diffusion process improvements within a dynamic, collaborative team at Nexperia Manchester. You’ll drive projects aimed at improving wafer yield, throughput and cost, while ensuring processes are robust and fully risk-assessed. You will manage sustainment issues and contribute to new product/ platform development through process development activities. Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and development projects focusing on yield, throughput, cost and process capability
• Support new product and platform development through process development activities
• Sustain and improve mechanical and electrical yields to meet targets; monitor and improve CpK and coordinate RR studies on metrology
• Ensure process performance is reviewed, tracked and reported in line with factory policy
• Generate and maintain Wafer Fab Operator Instructions and ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards

Key requirements

• 5+ years of semiconductor process engineering experience (diffusion/furnacing preferred)
• HND or Degree in a relevant STEM discipline
• Project management experience
• Strong problem-solving and initiative
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration
• Good priority management and ability to work under high pressure
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Able to work a 4 days on/4 days off, 12 hours per day
