Civil Litigation Solicitor

Overview

In this role, you join a specialist civil litigation practice to handle credit hire matters from instruction through resolution. You will work within an experienced team to manage a varied caseload and deliver commercially focused advice aimed at optimal outcomes. The position offers opportunities to deepen expertise in litigated and pre-litigated motor-related claims while contributing to a well-regarded firm culture. You will be supported by colleagues to develop technically and advance your career in a niche litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of credit hire matters from instruction to resolution
• handle a mix of litigated and pre-litigated claims
• provide commercially focused advice to clients
• work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve best outcomes
• develop and apply technical expertise within a specialist civil litigation practice

Key requirements

• NQ+ PQE
• experience handling credit hire matters
• sound understanding of the litigation process
• strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills
• ability to manage own caseload or work with team
• organised, commercially aware, committed to client service
• experience in motor claims, personal injury or insurance litigation beneficial
