Overview

In this role you own the design vision for a nascent product area, shaping its direction from discovery through launch. You’ll partner with Product and Engineering leadership to advocate for users and deliver mobile-first, native experiences grounded in research. You’ll set the quality bar, mentor others, and contribute to the design system while navigating an ambiguous, high-growth environment. This is a chance to lead craft over hierarchy and drive impactful, zero-to-one initiatives in a global fintech context.

Responsibilities

  • Own design vision, strategy and execution for a new product area from discovery to launch
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership and advocate for users in senior forums
  • Ship high-craft, mobile-first native iOS/Android experiences informed by research and data
  • Set quality standards, mentor others, contribute to the global design system
  • Lead end-to-end initiatives in a zero-to-one space and collaborate across adjacent domains as the area matures

Key requirements

  • Staff- or Principal-level design craft delivered autonomously
  • Track record of taking products from zero-to-one in ambiguous, fast-moving spaces
  • Ownership of complex domains with close product and engineering partnership
  • Experience shipping native mobile (iOS and Android) experiences
  • Decisions grounded in research and data, with advanced Figma and design-systems fluency
  • Strategic presence with senior stakeholders and ability to bring AI into design workflow
