Responsibilities

  • Deliver industry-leading building services designs for high-profile UK projects
  • Advance net zero carbon initiatives by delivering sustainable, low-carbon buildings
  • Share knowledge and technical skills with colleagues worldwide
  • Engage with clients, developers, contractors and architects to secure commissions and become the engineer of choice
  • Supervise detailed design work and mentor junior engineers to maximize learning across the business
  • Act as client’s key point of contact and contribute to day-to-day team leadership and values
  • Develop team cohesion, drive collaboration, and maintain a strong safety and quality culture
  • Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and generate additional business

Key requirements

  • Strong background in mechanical, sustainable building design from concept to technical design
  • Knowledge of operational energy calculations (TM54/NABERS) and their design application
  • Working understanding of 3D design software (Revit MEP) to allocate and direct project work
  • Chartership via CIBSE/IET/IMechE or accredited honours degree or equivalent experience leading toward Chartership (preferred)
