In this role you pursue ACA training within a reputable London firm focused on charities and social-purpose organisations. Responsibilities
- Undertake client work with emphasis on statutory audits and related assignments
- Adhere to firm policies, independence, and ethics to deliver high-quality service
- Keep seniors informed on activity, capacity, and progress for efficient use of time
- Participate in meetings and internal briefings; provide supervision to less experienced trainees after initial experience
- Work independently at client premises when required, presenting audit files for review
- Maintain and submit ICAEW training records every six months and progress through the training agreement
- Fulfill study progress obligations of the ACA training agreement
- Perform other tasks aligned with role responsibilities
Key requirements
- Passed four to five ACA exams
- British university degree at class 2:2 or above (or equivalent) or passed AAT finals (Professional Diploma, level 4)
- At least one year of work experience while training for ACA
- Strong interest in audit and ACA qualification
- Commitment to not-for-profit sector
