Associate Director – Energy Consultant

Overview

In this role you will guide energy infrastructure projects for Savills Earth, helping clients achieve energy, sustainability and net zero goals. You will lead technical and commercial assessments and advise on large-scale grid connections, HV and EHV opportunities, while navigating UK policy and regulation. You will shape feasibility studies and option appraisals for renewables and storage, delivering strategic, viable recommendations. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive value for diverse clients and contribute to profitability and impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial assessments for grid connection opportunities (HV/EHV) and renewable/storage projects
• Prepare feasibility studies and option appraisals for energy generation and storage
• Provide strategic recommendations that are technically viable and commercially attractive
• Navigate the UK energy policy and regulatory landscape in project delivery
• Engage with stakeholders across a diverse client base to progress complex energy projects
• Support team profitability and contribute to the delivery of innovative energy solutions
• Demonstrate strong project management, communication and leadership to drive project outcomes
• Champion Savills’ values in client engagements and project delivery
