Overview

In this BIM and information-management focused role, you will support the delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring governance, information standards and secure information handling. You will develop BEP, maintain ISO 19650 awareness, and contribute to the Information Model and CDE setup. This is a chance to influence BIM processes, upskill project teams, and drive compliant, data-driven project delivery within a collaborative PMO context.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Delivery Team(s) throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
  • Develop and maintain understanding of ISO19650 and applicable standards
  • Ensure security protocols for viewing and issuing information
  • Implement governance and assurance processes
  • Monitor digital handover to completion
  • Produce information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR) per ISO 19650
  • Produce information standards, methods and procedures
  • Read and support Mace process and procedures guides
  • Develop object library aligned with BIM strategy
  • Assure and check Information Model
  • Produce information model (Pre-RIBA Stage 3)
  • Review current technology solutions and research new BIM-related tools
  • Support construction sequencing using information models
  • Support Mace Cost team with cost plans from information models
  • Provide training on BIM topics (databases, templates, COBie, etc.)
  • Understand Information Management assignment matrix (BS EN ISO 19650-2)
  • Understand CDE setup and processes/tools
  • Upskill client team and project/design teams via BIM knowledge sessions
  • Collaborate with PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with Mace Way

Key requirements

  • Level 6 qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Experience with BIM, BEP, ISO 19650-2 and information management processes
  • Knowledge of CDE setup and information governance
  • Ability to train and upskill teams and stakeholders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Effective communication with clients and stakeholders
