Technology Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end technology consulting engagements for enterprise Financial Services clients, coordinating governance, delivery, and stakeholder management. You will act as a central liaison between business, technology and risk stakeholders, working with senior consultants, architects and SMEs. You will identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies to ensure delivery stays aligned with business outcomes. You will oversee client deliverables and provide clear progress updates in a regulated environment. This is an opportunities to shape technology change for major FS clients within a collaborative, governance-driven framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, mobilization and end-to-end delivery of technology consulting projects for enterprise FS clients
• Establish robust project governance, including status reporting, RAID, steering committees and detailed project plans
• Coordinate between client stakeholders, consulting teams and technical SMEs with clear communication
• Build relationships with business, technology, risk and operations stakeholders to enable delivery decisions
• Identify, track and manage risks, issues, dependencies and scope with timely resolution
• Facilitate workshops, project meetings and stakeholder forums with clear objectives and next steps
• Oversee creation of high-quality client deliverables (presentations, reports, roadmaps, governance materials)
• Ensure all workstreams stay aligned to objectives, timelines and business outcomes with transparent progress reporting

Key requirements

• Experience delivering technology change in Financial Services or other regulated environments
• Ability to manage end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams (planning, tracking, governance, RAID)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with senior leaders, technology teams, risk functions and clients
• Comfort engaging with architects, engineers and SMEs on topics like cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and digital transformation (without hands-on technical work)
• Proven track record navigating regulatory, risk and compliance requirements
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving ability and capability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches; familiarity with AWS or Azure platforms
• Holds or can obtain project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum) and government Security Clearance (SC)
