Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of complex professional negligence matters from start to resolution
  • Handle multi-track, high-value disputes with independence
  • Provide commercially focused advice aligned to client and insurer objectives
  • Supervise, mentor and support junior colleagues
  • Maintain high standards of client care, technical quality and efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and team performance
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver on financial and operational targets
  • Ensure efficient case management and favorable commercial outcomes
  • Manage disputes through litigation, mediation and ADR as appropriate

Key requirements

  • 4+ years PQE in Professional Negligence or complex litigation
  • Strong experience handling multi-track, high-value disputes
  • Excellent technical knowledge and litigation skills
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues (desirable)
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to deliver pragmatic advice
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
