Market Access Manager

Overview

As Market Access Manager, you will drive reimbursement and market access across Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, shaping Health Board account plans and engaging decision-makers. You will collaborate with PAMA, Marketing, Sales, and Tender teams to deliver pricing, evidence, and access initiatives that enable sustainable growth. By navigating complex health systems, you expand Essity’s presence and deliver customer-focused solutions with cross-functional influence. This role offers the opportunity to impact patient access and health outcomes in devolved nations, within a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead market access and reimbursement activities across devolved nations
• Develop and deliver Health Board account plans
• Influence healthcare decision-makers and key opinion leaders to improve patient access
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Tender, and Market Access teams on pricing, evidence and access initiatives
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with Health Boards, procurement, medicines management, and government stakeholders
• Navigate complex decision-making pathways to expand Essity’s presence across devolved nations
• Align internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions

Key requirements

• Understanding of devolved nations health and social care market
• Strong commercial awareness
• Ability to write business cases and project briefs
• Track record delivering innovative solutions to internal and external groups
• Best in class planning and leadership capabilities
• Experience in Healthcare Partnership capacity and driving value
• Excellent presentation, communication and project management skills
• PRINCE2 qualification is desirable
