Overview

In this role you will help protect financial services clients by evaluating cyber risks in emerging tech. You will collaborate with seasoned security professionals to identify threats, support resilience initiatives, and assess governance and regulatory requirements. You’ll explore AI, CTEM, cloud security, and other cutting‑edge topics to shape risk, controls, and recommendations. Responsibilities

  • Support cyber security, technology risk, and resilience assessments for financial services clients
  • Identify cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging risks across technology environments
  • Contribute to cyber risk assessments, control reviews, and security maturity assessments
  • Support Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) activities, including exposure prioritisation and remediation tracking
  • Research emerging technologies and their security implications (AI, quantum computing, cloud, automation)
  • Analyze cyber threat intelligence and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Support operational and cyber resilience initiatives, including scenario testing and resilience assessments
  • Develop presentations, reports, and recommendations for technical and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to security governance, compliance, and regulatory assessments in financial services
  • Support third‑party and supply chain security reviews
  • Collaborate with consultants, architects, data scientists, risk specialists, and client teams on transformation programmes
  • Develop expertise in industry frameworks, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience in cyber security, technology risk, IT audit, technology consulting, engineering, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated interest in cyber security and emerging technologies
  • Understanding of core cyber security principles (risk management, defence‑in‑depth, IAM, secure‑by‑design)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to assess information and communicate findings clearly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and security concepts
  • Experience using AI‑enabled tools to improve productivity or analysis
