Solutions Consultant (Implementation) – Finance/Banking

Overview

In this role you will guide clients through the full implementation lifecycle of our core banking software, from sales through go-live. You will analyse client processes, define requirements, and propose technical solutions, collaborating with development teams and presales. You’ll manage multiple projects with tight timelines, drive process changes, and contribute to data migration and configuration work. This position offers ownership of product-related initiatives within a high-profile financial technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in the implementation of financial software from sales to go-live
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to design configurations and workarounds
• Prepare elements of business case definitions
• Implement process change definitions and support product configuration
• Define data migration requirements and coordinate related activities
• Manage multiple projects independently while coordinating with presales and stakeholders
• Engage with various customer stakeholders to consolidate requirements and ensure success
• Adapt to flexible hours and locations and stay compliant with financial industry changes

Key requirements

• 4 years commercial experience in implementation or consultancy
• Client-facing experience
• Degree educated or degree calibre
• Understanding of financial services
• Experience supporting software implementations and upgrades
• Ability to document business requirements and implement process changes
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and requirements consolidation
• Experience with product configuration and data migration
• Analytical approach to fault investigation and SDLC awareness
