European Commercial Manager – Data Centres

Overview

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee multiple European sites for a leading international contractor on data centre and infrastructure projects. You’ll manage subcontractors, deliver detailed cost and planning reports, and handle financial applications for contracts up to 20 million. The role blends client-facing duties with hands-on project leadership, offering fast-track progression and opportunities to cycle travel between the UK and Europe. Your work supports project delivery, cost control, and compliance across diverse sites.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage projects up to 20 million in value
• Produce cost plus reporting, applications, and financial reporting including CVR, cashflow forecasting
• Travel across European sites as required
• Manage subcontractors and packages
• Maintain upstream client communication and reporting
• Plan for and implement changes on projects as needed

Key requirements

• Project management experience
• Subcontractor management experience
• Client liaison and meeting experience
• Ownership and accountability of leadership scope
• Extreme attention to detail and strong reporting skills
• Data centre or groundworks experience (not mandatory)
• Ability to travel within Europe and stay abroad for sustained periods
