Employee Privacy Operations Specialist

Overview

In this role, you will advise on employee privacy and data subject requests across multiple jurisdictions, partnering with HR and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, scalable outcomes. You will help shape the global employment privacy program and respond to evolving data protection developments. The position offers the chance to influence processes, train stakeholders, and support TikTok’s privacy program at scale. You will work in a fast-paced, global team focused on practical, law‑driven guidance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to data subject request cases related to employee and candidate privacy across multiple jurisdictions
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex privacy requests
• Navigate operational requirements to deliver consistent, high-quality service
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and policies at scale
• Drive cross-functional projects with competing priorities and deadlines
• Develop training and guidance on data subject rights obligations, response procedures, and emerging legal developments

Key requirements

• Significant privacy and/or compliance experience in privacy support, privacy consulting, or similar operations
• Strong knowledge of UK and EU data protection frameworks and employee privacy requirements
• Highly organized with excellent project management skills
• Ability to critically analyze data and present reports to senior leadership
• Integrity with handling sensitive information confidentially
• Excellent stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills
