Estimating Director

Overview

In this role you will lead the Estimating function for a prestigious high-end fit-out contractor in London. You drive accuracy and competitiveness of estimates for super-prime projects while shaping commercial strategy and client relationships. You’ll steer a growing team, champion best-in-class estimating practices, and protect margins through market insight and regulation awareness. This is a strategic leadership position with impact on growth and project quality in an elite market.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of accurate, competitive estimates for prestigious commercial and super-prime residential projects
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external clients to foster long-term relationships
• Drive consistency and technical excellence across the estimating function in line with best-in-class values
• Demonstrate proven Head of Estimating experience directing commercial strategy for bespoke, high-end fit-outs
• Apply analytical rigor to identify discrepancies in complex datasets ensuring high accuracy
• Leverage market trends and building regulations to protect margins while maintaining uncompromising quality

Key requirements

• Proven track record at Head of Estimating level or equivalent in super-prime fit-outs
• Strong analytical skills with focus on accuracy and data integrity
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and industry stakeholders
• Experience directing commercial strategy and coordinating across internal and external teams
• Knowledge of market trends and building regulations relevant to high-end residential projects
