Senior Site Manager – Essex – Residential

Overview

In this role you will lead a flagship residential project in Essex, overseeing the on-site delivery of luxury apartments and townhouses from inception through completion. You will manage on-site teams and report to a Project Manager/Director, ensuring smooth coordination as development phases progress. The position focuses on delivering high-quality construction on traditional build schemes for a national residential developer. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear impact on project timelines and quality, within a respected company.

Pay / Benefits

• up to £65,000 plus package

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site execution of the flagship Essex project from start to finish
• Manage and mentor Assistant/Site Managers and site teams
• Coordinate with Project Manager/Director to align program, budget, and quality
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and build standards on site
• oversee trades, subcontractors, and sequence of works to maintain schedule

Key requirements

• Experience with residential developer on traditional build schemes (townhouses and apartments)
• CSCS Black Card desirable
• SMSTS desirable
• First Aid desirable
• CIOB membership desirable
