Overview
In this role, you define and scale the robotics integration architecture that connects the IFS suite with major robot OEM platforms. You will lead a hands-on founding of integrations, mentor a growing team, and steer strategic OEM partnerships. The role sits in the CTO Office and bridges technology strategy with production software, delivering real customer value through autonomous robot workflows. You contribute to a forward-looking robotics program that shapes enterprise AI-driven robotics capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Own the agent-first integration architecture between the IFS suite and robotics OEM platforms, from reference design to production
- Build an abstraction layer to treat heterogeneous robot fleets as dispatchable executors of work
- Deliver working integrations: dispatch to robots, mission orchestration, telemetry into asset/service records
- Evaluate OEM platforms for engineering merit and prioritize investment
- Represent IFS in technical engagements with OEMs, robotics foundation model providers, and interoperability bodies
- Hire and lead a robotics integration engineering team and set technical standards
- Ship demonstrable outcomes on real customer scenarios and flagship events with strict timelines
- Brief executives and customers on the robotics roadmap in commercial terms
Key requirements
- 15+ years in software engineering with enterprise-scale integration or platform architecture experience
- Hands-on experience with at least two major robot OEM ecosystems at SDK/API level
- Prototyping, reviewing PRs, and debugging integrations; production-ready capabilities
- Applied AI experience with agentic systems, tool use, function calling, and orchestration of autonomous tasks
- Understanding of robotics in industrial settings: connectivity, safety interlocks, teleoperation, human-in-the-loop, and fault modes
- Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating with external partner organizations
- Strong written and spoken communication at executive level; comfortable with live demos
