In this role you will lead geotechnical projects from proposal to completion, applying advanced analysis and mentoring junior staff. You’ll work within a Calgary/Edmonton-area team to deliver technically sound solutions for diverse sites, leveraging innovative tools and digital methods. Responsibilities
- Manage small to mid-sized geotechnical projects from proposal through completion, including planning, analysis, and reporting
- Engage with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored geotechnical solutions
- Provide technical leadership on complex analyses and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Lead and coordinate small project teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to their development
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and help advance technical capabilities
Key requirements

- Postgraduate degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
- 20+ years of geotechnical consulting experience

- Residence in Edmonton, Alberta, or willingness to relocate
