Commercial Litigation Senior Associate

Overview

In this role you will handle a broad range of commercial disputes within a respected regional firm, working closely with partners to manage matters and develop your own client relationships. You will contribute to the growth of the Southampton team while delivering high‑quality dispute resolution work. Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of commercial disputes from intake to resolution
• Handle contract and contractual disputes, professional negligence, director/shareholder disputes, and disputes arising from business sales
• Oversee debt recovery and other commercial claims
• Lead mediation and ADR processes and pursue court proceedings as needed
• Maintain significant client contact and responsibility for your own matters
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues across the firm
• Contribute to business development and long-term client relationships

Key requirements

• 4+ PQE in Commercial Litigation
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Commercial and pragmatic approach
• Confident handling matters with minimal supervision
• Excellent client, counsel, and professional communication
• Team player with interest in growing the practice and business development
