Overview

As an Engineering Manager for Systems Solutions Delivery, you will steer engineering efforts across multiple workstreams within a mission system capability and integration programme. You will ensure integrated software and hardware solutions meet performance, cost, and schedule targets, coordinating inputs from internal and external partners. The role sits in a Combat Systems context with hybrid, cross-site work and a clear focus on naval environments. You will shape delivery governance and lifecycle activities to enable trusted, end-to-end system solutions for Royal Navy projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery and management of Hybrid Navy capability projects across multiple workstreams
• Maintain engineering management plans, schedules, and project interfaces
• Coordinate inputs across design, build, integration, test, acceptance, and transition to service with required artefacts
• Liaise with customer and design teams to enable delivery and acceptance of integrated system solutions

• Proven track record of leading and managing design and engineering teams
• Managing complexity, risks and uncertainty in complex projects
• STEM-related academic qualification and willingness to become a Chartered Engineer
