Project Controls Engineer – Aviation

Overview

In this role you will lead the programme controls for a London airport portfolio, ensuring accurate plans, costs and performance reporting. You will work with cross-functional teams to align resourcing and data standards, supporting senior Programme and Project Managers. The opportunity centers on delivering high-value airport projects within an international environment and shaping robust control processes. Responsibilities

• Review new project proposals to develop realistic delivery plans
• Identify and resolve resourcing needs with planning teams
• Provide efficient day-to-day reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and performance
• Ensure data input meets required standards for cost and performance systems
• Manage production of the Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework

Key requirements

• Experience in planning, scheduling (schedule development, control, analysis)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with PC operating systems and Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera (P6) and other discipline-specific software
• Knowledge of engineering and construction management, procurement, contracts, start-up processes
• Experience in aviation/airport environments
