GSOC Security Engineering Lead

Overview

In this role you will own the engineering platforms and AI-enabled capabilities behind the security operations service. You will translate priorities into a practical roadmap, manage a globally distributed team and budget, and drive a DevOps-first approach for secure, scalable delivery. You will lead across SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, data pipelines and detection content platforms, shaping innovative security solutions. The role offers meaningful impact by strengthening detection, response and risk management across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, reliability, performance, cost efficiency of the security operations tech estate and translate strategy into a prioritized roadmap
• Lead engineering across SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, data pipelines and detection content platforms
• Advance DevOps maturity via CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, observability and disciplined release engineering
• Design and introduce AI-assisted capabilities for detection, triage, investigation and response with governance and oversight
• Run an innovation pipeline from horizon scanning to value proof and controlled production
• Set and enforce engineering, secure development, testing, release, AI use and documentation standards; manage production readiness and technical debt
• Lead, resource, coach and develop a global engineering team focused on DevOps, cloud, data and AI; support career development and engagement
