Overview
As a Process Engineer at Nexperia, you will balance sustaining daily production with delivering long-term improvement projects in a key wafer fab area. You’ll work across Etch & Implant technologies, driving yield, capability and performance, while supporting new product development and documentation. The role combines hands-on process work with cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment and offers clear development paths. You will impact manufacturing efficiency, process control, and compliance in a global, sustainability-minded company.
Pay / Benefits
- Starting salary 54,000-66,000 (DOE) or 46,000 for Graduate level

Responsibilities
- Sustain daily production and drive long-term improvement projects in Etch & Implant area
- Improve yield, capability and performance; coordinate R&R studies on metrology equipment; track and report process performance
- Deliver technical improvement projects focused on yield, cost, throughput, ease of manufacture and process capability
- Support new product/platform development through process development activities
- Generate and maintain Wafer Fab Operator Instructions and ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards
Key requirements
- 1+ years of semiconductor industry experience as a Process Engineer or a strong related academic background
- HND or Degree in a relevant STEM discipline (degree preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage priorities and work under high pressure
- Competent with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern (days/nights)
- Right to work in the UK
