Senior Product Manager

Overview

In this role, you will own the Open Mainframe Solutions roadmap within Broadcom’s Foundational and Open Solutions line. You’ll align market needs with R&D to deliver on strategic initiatives that modernize and integrate mainframe applications. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration to prioritize features and unblock delivery, while shaping GTM and measuring impact through KPIs. This is an opportunity to influence open technologies and AI/ML opportunities at scale, driving real business outcomes for customers. You will work closely with customers, partners, and executives to ensure long-term value and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and roadmap for Open Mainframe Solutions and initiatives aligned with value stream goals
• Advocate for market requirements to R&D and external stakeholders
• Prioritize features with Product Owners and Architecture, translating customer needs into stories and exploring AI/ML opportunities
• Remove roadblocks across cross-functional teams to enable on-time, high-quality delivery
• Lead GTM initiatives and measure success with KPIs, presenting strategy to CXO-level stakeholders
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and service providers to ensure ongoing value and retention

Key requirements

• 12+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or enterprise software development
• Deep understanding of mainframe software industry, open source projects, and transformation trends
• Strong technical knowledge of software solutions built on open technologies like Linux, GIT, Python
• Advanced understanding of B2B business models, software licensing, and product delivery
• Proven cross-functional project management and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with track record of executive-level presentations
